Review by hotel critic
Review of JJs Backpackers VillageAs a frequent traveller in search of family-friendly accommodations, my experience at JJs Backpackers Village left much to be desired. Initially, I was drawn to the coastal charm of this establishment and its proximity to the beach; however, the reality fell short of expectations due to several concerning factors. Upon arrival, I was anxious to enjoy a relaxing stay but was met with unfriendly service from the staff. Unfortunately, the cleanliness standards did not match those of more pleasant hotels I typically recommend. Bed bug bites from the mattress were an unwelcome surprise, and shared bathrooms were often unavailable. While the location is ideal for beach access and lively nightlife, it seems that the focus has shifted heavily towards party-goers, neglecting families like mine. Additional issues arose when my attempt to address the situation was met with hostility, leaving me feeling unsettled. While the beach shows promise, I'd advise potential guests to carefully weigh the balance of comfort versus cost. There are more welcoming and family-oriented options available in the region.
